I don't remember any evidence of a similar question of mine being heard. Namely why aren't ALL postings listed by date of ANSWER rather than by when the questions were ASKED(even if this was days or weeks ago)? This site is called the ANSWER bank!
As things are and always have been as far as I know, the only way of getting a question looked at is for it NOT to be answered, and therefore listed under Unanswered Questions! Once it has been posted to (I won't say 'answered') it rapidly falls of the edge of the world under the weight of the lemming hordes of questions posted more recently.
This is ABSURD. Threads either die almost from the moment they are born or are worried to death in pretty short order in the jaws of the most watchful terriers.
And this is just about the worst site I have ever come across for posting to dead threads. I have observed people adopting strategies to try to subvert the way it strangles threads at birth, but the New! Improved! design should have rectified the situation, not made it worse.
I repeat, this is the ANSWER bank. So Spare Ed, if you are going to put the ordering of "Questions I have Answered" 'on the list', and are an actual site editor, spare or otherwise, with a list to put it on and a way of actioning items on that list, put the ordering of ALL questions on the SAME list, and let us see some rationalization in the right direction this time.
