Thanks.
I got the little kitten pouches. Opened one yesterday and gave him a small amout. He didn't eat it all. That one tiny pouch has lasted two days (only got him yesterday)
So far I've been topping up his bowl at breakfast, lunch, dinner and suppper with tiny amounts. I just don't want to over feed him.

If you don't have his 'crown jewels' off till he is a year old, he may well have quadrupled the local cat population by then. You need to get him done at six months or else not only will he be after all the local females he will start spraying pee everywhere inside and out as well. If he has not been wormed by the breeder he will need worming now, and then check with your vet. If you don't worm him he will not thrive on the food you are giving him. You can get kitten wormer paste or liquid from the pet shop but the best stuff is from the vet.
Thanks Dan.
I'll be booking him into the vets in a few weeks and yes, his crown jewels will be removed...bless him. I'll get the worming treatment when he gets his jabs.
He has loads of toys but only seems interested in the labels and our shoes. He's really funny. At the moment he's in his bed, started to climb out and fell asleep half way through the job so he's now hanging over the edge.
He's litter trained already and yes I've been cleaning it out. After having a dog it's not a problem.
I can't believe how much you can love them so soon....

aaahhhhh ummmmm thats so lovely. I'm jealous of you now though!!!!
With regards to toys - I highly recommend a scratching post from a young age - that way they'll use that and not your sofa or carpet....
And a small cardboard box upside down with a hole in provides hours of fun!!!
They are complete and utter timewasters at this age.... a real joy to have around.. and of course they sleep loads after playing too! Too cute for words!
Keep him in for as long as you possibly can so he is used to his own name and comes when called.. that way you wont be having kittens when you let him out for the first time!
I think with a kitten you can feed them little and often.. so up to 3 times a day. I would wean him off the kitten milk eventually though as its not only expensive.. but plain old water is much better!
Be warned.. they are fussy little blighters!!! Whats good for one day - will not be the next!
Enjoy
