we are due to fly with bmi baby in 3 weeks but am i right in thinking that you cant check in online unless youve got no suitcases? if that maked sense??!!!

Online check-in is only available, with almost any airline, for travellers without checked baggage. (That's certainly the case with BmiBaby). Only a few airlines (such as Ryanair) have yet introduced the airport bag drop facilities which are necessary to extend the service to those with hold baggage.
