ive just had a new alternator fitted and also new break pads to my focus cmax lx but ive just took it for a run out and the engine warning stayed on,should i get it seen to or will it go off after a few run outs?

I would be inclined to get it checked out by the people who fitted the new alternator. It appears it's not charging the battery if the ignition warning light is still on with the engine running.

.. and check they remembered to refit the alternator belt!

my car is running ok yet the light is still on.i even phoned the aa and they said it was nowt to worry about and it will probably go off on its own but after 5 days im having my doubts
