bose i pod dock

can anyone tell me what the sound is like on a bose ipod dock? and are they worth the money? tia was'nt sure if i should put this in music or technology.

However, my remote sat down...and it wasnt battery. Costly to replace.

could you tell me if the sound travels all over the house or just the room its being played in, obviously i realise if you have it turned up really loud you would hear it all over, but just wondering if you had it on a reasonable volume you can still hear it if you were upstairs say

I bought one in 2006 and love it. Only went to Bose shop for a demo and came out with one 30 mins later. They look good, but most importantly the sound is just superb. Even my dad rates it...and hes not really into technology!! Sounds is always very clear and has very good base for something so small. I have mine in lounge and when turned up can easily hear it upstairs and in the garden.

I would not put my IPod in anything else. My Bose travels with me everywhere.
