hollihcks seeds

I`ve been in France this summer and came back with a bag full of Hollihocks (hope I`m spelling it right) seeds that I collected around the country. Where,when and how can I plant them in my garden? I`ts all grass, quite large,with a long wooden fence down the one side,a good length of house wall with a pebble path along it, and conifers along the whole length of the side opposite the fence.The house wall faces West.

If you plant them in Spring make sure you store the seed iin a paper envelope or bag no plastic
