Highchair features - best and worst

What features should I be looking for in a highchair? What do you like or dislike about yours?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.We have had lots of different sorts but we currently have 2 very plain wooden ones - they are not as comfortable looking as the padded sort but they are a lot easier to clean (no horrible creases), because they do not have any plastic covered padding they are not going to rip. However, the straps are made of some sort of webbing and they are attached using screws so they are a bit of a faff to remove and wash. The table part at the front can be swung over the back so if you had the right height table the little one can sit close up and eat with their plate on the actual table as they get older. (PS - we have five children so we have tested a lot of high chairs!)
i love my Mamas and Papas one.
Its padded, so yes if can be awkward to clean but i can get the vacuum nozzle in to the creases.
It reclines so was great for feeding a tiny one.
There are 2 trays so i could remove on after feeding if baby wanted to play.
Its lasted 4 years so far and is still as good as new.
The straps come off easily.
The tray removes so it can be used at the table.
It has a centre post so baby cant slide through when trying to get straps on them.
It folds away and is free standing when folded.
