Thx for the link, dris. She makes it clear there that my more lurid images of the earth moving for her were inappropriate. So I guessed she was on hol in Valencia, and just not used to little local earthquakes.
Non-news, you see, NoM, as in the classic non-headldine "Small earthquake in X. Nobody imjured".
My guess seems to be confirmed by the proximity of (presumably) hotel balconies: "I expected to see people out on their balconies, but there's no sign of anyone."
And you even say youve never experienced one before and have nothing to compare it to.
I have lived in Japan... The thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to... One long period of gunpatsu jishin - Almost uninterrupted shaking for months on end. And we were there bang over the epicentre of the great Kobe earthquake. Lived in the car for 3 days. Couldnt get out because all roads busted and ferry harbour smashed up. Even after we came back to UK, the whole family was terrorized by so much as a lorry going past!
