For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Don't know why it's happened, but if you go to View>Toolbars and uncheck the "Lock the Toolbars" (this enables you to drag certain elements around), then View>Toolbars>Customize, you can get it exactly the way you want it.
If you didn't have any links showing before, and you don't want them, you could just uncheck the "Links" option. Don't forget to lock the toolbars in place when you're done!
Thinking about it, it may be that the "Links" were inadvertently activated whilst the toolbars were unlocked, thus pushing the next bar out of place. You may find unchecking the links sorts it all out. If the toolbars are already unlocked, I'd lean towards this explanation.
