I am applying for a job and have been told that I will require an enhanced disclosure (it's an admin job) and I've been told by the employment agency that they inlcude information such as if you've ever been fired, how many sick days you've taken, how many times you've been late, your medical records, the address of everywhere you've ever lived and your credit score and if you are currently in debt, as well as the obvious criminal records check. All this seems very intrusive. I don't mind a criminal records check as I've nothing to hide and that's reasonable enough, but the other stuff?

No. An enhanced disclosure is supplied by the criminal records bureau. They will not have any information that does not relate to your criminal record.
