Air Con Sensor Making a Noise - Saab 93

The air con sensor in my convertable '02 saab 9 3 makes a sort of clicking whistling sound, does anyone know how to sort this. the sensor is a small vent near the ash tray. T.I.A

are you sure thats a good idea! it sounds more like its caused my air?

I would change the sensor for a new one if i was you, usually when small electrical devices such as your air con sensor start playing up you either (a) impossible to take apart to see what has gone wrong or (b) even if you can manage to take it apart you can't get the spare parts that you need to replace the damaged parts.
