i told my sister i could find a way to rid her pastry cutters of rust (they are old and funky) turns out no one nos any brains i can pick out there

Sprinkle a little salt on the rust, squeeze a lime over the salt until it is well soaked. Leave the mixture on for 2 - 3 hours. Use leftover rind to scrub residue.

Wire wool. That's what I use on my favourite pastry cutters...
i use one of those brillo pad thingies
Buy new ones and replace without saying anything then tell her - bit of elbow grease works wonders

I;d just buy new plastic ones that dont rust. Bust try soda crystals

soak in lemon juice overnight rinse and remove excess with a wire wool brush
