The Canary Islands are good in November. Great weather, still within Europe and the flight isn't too far. I've been to Gran Canaria in November and friends have been to Tenerife. The only downside is the timeshare salesmen!
I went to Tenerife last November, hoping for good weather, but it wasn't as good as I'd been led to believe. I wouldn't go again that time of the year.
I paid over £2,500 for a winter holiday in portugal last year, it rained every day and it was unspeakably cold. I went to north wales for five days and it was beautiful!
i have enjoyed holidays in the Canaries, Morocco and Egypt at the time of year - very hot and sunny! Been to Prague then too - the sun shone although it was cold but I love cold crisp sunny days!
