I seem to remember when Lennie Henry started out on "New Faces" (or whatever it was at the time) he had a female partner in the act. Can anyone remember who she was and what happened to her?

Thanks Percat but I am thinking before that.
Don't remember any female partner on New Faces.
I remember he did impressions starting with one of Frank Spenser with his back to camera, then got a huge laugh when he turned round and everyone saw that he was black.

My memory is of him doing impressions of Alf Garnet, going on about coons and sambos. This was VERY early in his career. I am sure there was a female partner at that time. Of course I may be going senile
He did the Black and White Minstrels for a while too, shortly after new Faces. Maybe that's where the girl has come in ?
Are you thinking of Gary Wilmot? He appeared with a girl and it was suggested by the panel that he got rid of her.
I don't remember a girl, but I do remember he was funny back then - what happened??
I agree he was funnier back then
I used to be a fan of Lennie back in the early days. He never had a female partner as part of his act. He was in "The Fosters", "Tiswas" and "Three of a Kind" which had women in them but not as part of his standup act.
