Oh blimey - slinky - this is the true answer - the polar bear'd be 17.32 miles, at a bearing of 88.7 degrees east of where he started from. I'm not joking - that's the answer. x
Lol - sorry - to explain, it goes back to your maths/physics O'Level or GCSE. You use pythagoras' theorum, followed by trigonometry for the final calculation.

You have got it all wrong.

You are surposed to say a bear walks 10 miles south, 10 miles east then 10 miles north and ends up where he started.

You then ask - What colour is the bear?
