I ws born in London and lived there until some time in 1979. Moved briefly to Aldershot and then to Hereford in October 1980. Lived in Hereford ever since, apart from 3 years in Spain.

Dunno off hand, there's The Coach And Horses (used to be a bit of a rough house), The Running Horses, The Meadows, The Everest, The Alt there's also one by the Maghull Square whose name I've forgotten.

when we were in the RAF quarter at St Athan we used to get the SAS trainees come for 2 weeks to the MT driving school, and then on their last night they used to get drunk in the Red Dragon or the FBI and tell any girl that would listen that they were leaving the next day for 'active engagement' or something, lol.

The Coach and Horses is on a main road, the Running Horses is by the lift bridge (little tiny thing) sounds like the one whose name I've forgotten (bloody would be!), was it by the library?
Oh hang on, is it the Red Lion?
Cos that pub's not far from the Red Lion bridge.
