McCartney/Lennon Songs what is the beef?

Why is Sir Paul changing the now almost unchangable Lennon MacCartney songwiritng combo? I think he took more than he gave in the relationship and now is looking for more. I mean the stuff was done 30 years ago.

He refers back to a conversation between him Epstein and Lennon in the early days. It was apparently agreed that he could change this whenever he sees fit. Probablem here is that that neither of the other parties involved in that conversation can currently respond.
I think Paul's reasons for wanting McCartney-Lennon as opposed to Lennon-McCartney are quite legitimate. However, anyone with the remotest knowledge of the output of The Beatles knows who wrote what and Paul is just going about this all the wrong way. His place in history is assured. His professional output is arguably the greatest in modern history, above people like Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, and yes, Lennon. I just can't see why he's being such an arse about this.
