What reasons would there be for a delivery failer with attachments for email

too large?

Like Mattk says, if the attachment is too large (the definition of 'too large' varies from system to system and time to time) then it might take too much time to send before one of the email servers calls time on it.

Also, the receiving email server could have rejected it if it didn't like the look of it, even it is safe (risk of viruses etc.)
