hey Sal.. well it was... a bit bizarre! they were mostly very nice men, some were even quite funny but not what I'd call date-able. one guy was nice and he ticked me too, and we're meeting on Thursday.. but we've spoken on the phone since and he's kinda dull :o/

maybe he'll be better in person!

Yeah - give him a chance. Maybe he was just nervous. I must admit I'm not a phone person... spend enough time on the phone at work, I avoid it out of work. When I first spoke to the guy I'm with now on the phone (who, bytheway, I must confess was the product of a 'internet dating site), we almost didn't go ahead with our planned meeting. I thought he sounded far far too posh for me (although of Welsh origin, he has lost all trace of a Welsh accent & speaks very 'proper' Queen's English) and he thought I sounded a bit stilted.
And - here we are, 2 and a half years later.
So - give it one more shot girl :-)

Good morning WBM and everybody - slow start here trying to dig the kids out of their beds. My 16 year old is in 4th year in school over here which is transition year and she begins 2 weeks of work experience today - 1st week in hairdressers and 2nd week in the Dail (our houses of parliament)
