I expected an interjection from Sqad on this one. But then, I'm always expecting one of them from him....
A work colleague is in a strop cos one of the Junior Docs described her as having a "pyknic physique". She took offence at this, not unsurprisingly - doesn't sound too flattering does it? All it means is short and stocky, and that the J.D. was just showing off.
She expected me to sympathise - all I said was "It's better than him describing you as a Pygmy".
She found that even less funny. Jeezus - you have to have a sense of humour in this game.
