Lie detecter

Where can I buy a lie detecter test? One thats not through the roof in prices. I have contacted complanies and they all cost over £500. I want one that is gonna be reliable as my relationship could depend on it, but that is also affordable. Can anyone help. I have looked online but cant find anything.

If your relationship is that shaky that you need a lie detector to tell if your patrtener is telling the truth, you have two alternatives either believe the person or sever the partnership.

Lie detectors dont "know" when a person is lying.

They only guess by sensing if a person is getting stressed during questioning, but they can be fooled.

Anyway, if you want to use it on your partner you have SERIOUS problems with your relationship and a lie detector test is not going to help (even if you partner agreed to take it anyway)

If you REALLY want to see how he reacts under stress ask to see his mobile phone AND details of every call he has made in the last say 6 months.

If he has nothing to hide he will show you (I would happily show my wife).

If he WONT show you then there is your answer.

There is no such thing as a 'lie detector'. This is unscientific nonsense peddled by people trying to make money; you can't measure truth or lies because they are not actual measurable variables. Rather than a "test", the method amounts to an inherently unstandardizable interrogation technique whose accuracy cannot be established. A 1997 survey of 421 psychologists estimated the test's average accuracy at about 61%, a little better than chance.

Look into changing him for a guy who trusts you - trust is number 1 in a relationship everything else comes second
