Yesterday I bought (and had to eat) some cooked mushrooms in a creamy sauce.

They were in the refridgerated section of the shop and vacuum packed. There ws nothing on the box to say if they were suitable for freezing or not. However do ABers have any advice as to if they can be frozen and therefore stored for longer

Thanks

Doh!

1. In a creamy sauce
2. refrigerated part of shop
3. Not labelled as suitable for freezing.
4. Enjoy :)
It's common for some of these packs to contain mussels that were previously frozen, (before they were used in the recipe). In such cases we're always advised not to re-freeze them. But I'm surprised there's no advice on the pack. BTW, Aldi (sometimes) have a 900gm frozen version.
Can you get those cheese sensors locally? You know, like the one supplied by the Kraft Corporation for moon dust the southern Emmental area...
