Childrens program

About 35yrs ago i used to watch a program about a little girl who went to bed and either read or dreamed about huge scary stones that i think came to life. Thats about all i can remember of it but i would love to know what it was called, a better description of it than i have given and if there is a clip or episode i could watch online. Hope somebody can help because its been bugging me for ages.

Just a guess, but whenever I hear '70's kids programme stones' I think of the spooky "Children of the Stones"
