my husband insists the radio is left on for the dogs when we go out. do they get any benefit from this or are they unaware of it? could it start them barking? if it is beneficial do they prefer music (what kind) or chat? personally i am afraid of the radio catching fire.
thanks

As far as what type of radio your dogs likes, you'll have to ask him. Although I assume different types of music affects dog similarly to how it affects most people. Mellow music is relaxing, fast music is more energetic. I also think that talk radio might be good because it might make the dog feel like there humans around.
I've never heard of a radio catching on fire for no reason.
