I am being asked to attend Civil Court this week by family to support my brother due to his ex-girlfriend wanting him to pay back all the money she spent on him when they were together. I haven't had a summons from the Court and I dont think me being there will be of any use. Do I really need to attend? Does the Civil court have witnesses? If anyone can help enlighten me on the Civil Court I would be very happy. Thank you

Having read your post, I’m going to sue all my ex-girlfriends I’ve spent money on (you won’t be surprised to know that there aren’t that many – and not much money is involved).

Doesn’t your brother’s ex-girlfriend watch Judge Judy !!!!
