My daughter is on work experience this week

She is working in the dail (Irish house of parliament). A friend of mine works there for a minister. Anyway shes been thrown in at the deep end - she has been brought to the members restaurant by the minister for lunch, she is shadowing him for the day taking notes at meetings etc and committee meeting being televised etc - hows that for work experience. She will be sh1tting herself - only 16

I dont think that will be the way she is headed but the experience and her 4th year portfolio for school will be different to everyone elses

I reckon hairdressers are underpaid, on their feet all day

She has to write a piece on her experience for his website - i am getting all this info from my friend

Will ask her at the end of the week - she is a good kid but typical teen in a lot of ways so would not ask too much about whats going on. I have a 12 year old however who wanted to go with her this week and will get her chance in 3 years and will probably be running the country by then anyway - they are all so different

exactly red and cath - it cant be bad. She came home on a high - she sat in on a meeting and was even asked a few questions.
