I wouldnt recomend personally using big companies own software for creating things like that. Try using nero.
There is a free trail version available at www.nero.com.

Thanks Butterban

I have tried Nero without success. Do I need the photos in any special format ( jpeg etc.) they are Windows Media/Video format. They were some that were saved before my PC crashed & are archived on the properties page. Any help would be appreciated

Since i have no experience with HP i dont know how to import files.
However there is a program available called Neodvd that works very well.
I dont quite understand if your talking about Video footage here or Pictures now?
If its Photographs you want to make into a video cd then you need them in Jpeg Format.
hope im not going off the subject here.

Hello again Butterban   .The videos are photos I took by accident and are saved through the Windows Media/Movie  Player (have to look it up) from my old digital camera , I would like to put them on disk as I deleted them from my camera. Can you help please? I have Nero Express v.5.5 on my pc.(Windows ME)

Right i think i understand now
open a new project in nero
and open video cd.
drag and drop all the photos you want to put on the cd in to the box and click burn compilation.
insert cd and burn.
Finger crossed this will answer you long awaited problem.
