Anthony Warrel Thompson health grill
I am thinking of getting one of these health grills. The one I am looking at in particular is the AWT HG11 made by Breville as it has removable grill plates whereas the George Foreman ones do not.
I have heard from one person that they found the incline too shallow on this grill, and so the fat didn't drain away properly/quickly - causing a smokey kitchen.
Can anyone comment on this that has one?
Thanks in advance!

From all the reviews i have read, the AWT seems better all round. Georges' non stick doesnt last as long, and I have to agree with that.
Thanks to both of you!!!
Well Chazza, yes, get one. They cook pieces of chicken and meat through thoroughly. Vegetarian food takes hardly any time at all. I've had mine a long time now so it is probably an earlier model but one minus is that mine has a rather small square "fat catcher", unlike the George Foremans. Once when I had visitors, I filled the whole thing up with sausages which, though cooked lovely, the fat spilled over into the underneath of the plates which was a job to clean. Mostly plates can be cleaned as described by Twiglet, but I do put the plates in the dishwasher from time to time. I always use mine on top of my ceramic 'glass' type electric cooker top and fumes then go straight out thru the extractor. When my present one kicks the dust, I shall certainly get another!
