Okay, so it's my sixteenth next month, and I havn't decided what to do ? Most of the people in my year who have already had their birthdays have had partys in halls with different themes, i.e, black and white, masks, ect. I have been thinking about having a garden party, as my garden is quite large, with music, marquee, fire, ect... I was also thinking about having everyone camp out in the garden afterwards.. however, this doesn't sound hugely exciting at the moment, and was interested in any ideas people had ? I want to have a party that people will remember, and would also like to carry on with the 'themed' thing everyones having.. Also any ideas for invitations.. Thankyou
(sorry if it's in the wrong category.. there doesn't seem to be a 'Topic' for leisure! )

are you in the UK? you'll freeze!

my daughter has been to a 70's party and a neon party recently. I reckon a pirate theme would be good, but I'm old :o)
Ouch, an outdoor party in November, you're brave, lol.

Mind you, you're all young, it's in a marquee and I assume you'll have heating? Errr, how about The Flintstones as your theme?

The cold is something i've been worrying about too but my mums going to get some heaters.. so shouldn't be too bad, especially when people are dancing !
Could be raining. Try a "horror" theme...always goes down well and it's near to Halloween and Bonfire Night!
My 16 year old went to a hollywood themed party where they all had small laminated passes as their invites - probably quite cheap to do
It could have an american country theme and have people sitting on bales of straw; these are really warm to sit on when it's cold. You could then all undo the bales and sleep on the straw which would be warmer underneath for you and quite a laugh to throw around!! I've never heard of anyone doing this so it could be a first!! Everyone would dress in jeans, checked shirts and cowboy hats and boots!
