HELP!

having a low day today after the breakup of my partner and i 2 weeks ago. I'm supposed to be going out tonight with my friends and feel like cancelling. you guys have helped me see the relationship was no good yet i still have days when i want to contact him.... i havent, again thanks to you guys.I keep wondering whether he's missing me , yet i know it shouldn't matter. Why can i only remember the good times??? i just need a few words to lift me out of the hole i woke up in this morning and stop me from cancelling my night. (perhaps i feel crap because i generally feel rubbish, sore throat, headache etc. i can here all the ahhhhs out there!! :-( as the song goes breaking up is HARD to do. Why do i have up and down days? am i abnormal?

no, you are very normal, its normal to grieve for the relationship you had, in your mind the "good times" are what you are grieving for. read through your pasts posts when you feel upset, you will feel bereft and lost for a while but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. you will come back stronger and you can now be you again xxx

you are very kind cazzz1975. I'm sorry if i go on about it. Some days are good, others not so. I don't really have anyone to talk to. yes i have friends but all are of the attitude he was a waste of time i don't want his name mentioned ok?. But he was my waste of time. I'm frightened he'll meet someone else before me! weird aye? We ended via one text despite having a day of exchanging loving and jokey texts so i kind of feel err what the hell happened there?
Anyhow, i am looking through my previous posts and i am geuinely thankful that people take the time to answer my questions. i read over and over your positive comments to keep me going. ;-)

yes its horrible goodbyegirl isn't? i'm trying to believe its happened for a reason, and that reason will benefit me. hard to see it at the mo though :-(
