Virgin Media through home Cinema

We have a Panasonic Plasma tv and home cinema and a V+ box they were linked with scarts,when the Virgin guy came out to repair the box he connected the V+ box to the tv with a HDMI cable.This is great but now the V+ doesn't play through the home cinema We've tried linking it with a HDMI cable tv to home cinema but it's not coming through Any advice any one? Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried re-connecting the V+ box to the home cinema with the scart lead, leaving the V+ connected to tv with hdmi cable?
