What is happening to the Telegraph ? The price has gone up as has the amount of junk. I don't want junk mail, glossy fashion magazines and free surplus DVDs that they cant get rid of, and above all I don't want to pay extra for all that rubbish that ends up in the recycle bin.

Me neither...............that's why I buy the Daily Mail......
But it's what you want...........
And shortly a representative of the Telegraph will explain to you exactly why.
They'll have 'think-tanked' and 'focus-grouped' the issue and decided to give their readers what they have asked for.
It's always the same :o(
They put as much as possible into the package because they\'re aimed at an older readership who may have a family, so they try to include something to suit everyone. The question isn\'t whether you chuck stuff in the bin because you don\'t want it (nobody wants everything) but whether you\'re happy with what\'s left.

They\'re not DVD retailers, so they\'re not surplus DVDs, they buy them in to lure shoppers who might otherwise buy another paper.
Newspapers are old hat now.

They are so yesterday.
no, I've definitely got today's one, Panic
