5 days holiday for public sector after marriage.
7 Answers
I'm not sure if this is the right catagory to submit this but I have been told by my father-in-law that because I work for a company that is government owned I am entitled to 5 days holiday after getting married.
Is this true or is it an old policy? He said I am entitled to it but I cannot seem to find anything on the government website.
Any help would be appreciated.

As an aside I know it's a standard joke about civil servants workload but I regularly work 10 hour days without overtime and work through my 30 min lunch break most days. After 19 years I am also earning well below the national average salary.
