Royal Mail Strikes
It makes me laugh to see these Union leaders announce their strikes on television as if anybody really cares. They've hardly brought the country to its knees have they,, AND all the mail will be delivered to us as soon as they go back. to work.

The Union is trying to look out for the interests of its members. That's what Unions should be doing.
If you want some -really- laughably pathetic union activity, I recommend taking a look at pretty much any Students' Union in the country.

I see from the latest issue of Private Eye, that the Communication Workers Union has given the Labour Party £5 million since 2001.
Gordon Brown has described the strike as ‘unnecessary’, Lord Mandelson has criticised the CWU for embarking on a ‘suicidal course of action’ and Lord Myners has accused the union of putting ‘livelihoods and jobs at risk’.
Gratitude indeed, for such financial support of the Labour Party.

Has anyone seen how much these union leaders get out of the workers contributions? They seem to treat these monies as their own \'bank accounts\' by borrowing large sums to buy their mansions. Wake up you workers and see who the real villains of the piece are! As long as their nests are feathered well is all they are bothered about.
