Blood bruises on arms.
1 Answers
I keep getting bruises on my arms if I happen to come in contact with any objects door etc, sometimes they bleed a little and it takes weeks for them to disappear.
They look like blood clots and very unsightly.
I am 65 and take an aspirin a day on doctors orders to thin my blood, Is this the reason?

The skin is also thinner, which means that bruising shows up more easily.
Bleeding also continues for longer (resulting in larger and more prominent bruising) when people are taking medicines to thin the blood. (It's particularly noticeable when people are taking Warfarin, as my late father used to do, but it can also happen when taking aspirin).
