Livebox

Hi, I have just bought a new computer and had to install a Livebox. After a lot of time & trouble we are connected but how do you see if you are connected to the broadband on the package deal? My last computers had the W for wanadoo, so could see the speed when clicked on. Is there somewhere I can check if I am on correct connection please?
