We are thinking of changing our bathroom into a shower room, you know the sort double shower cubicle and taking out the large corner bath. Problem is we have a fairly large window there, what would happen there would they have to block that up? Aunty Jem.

Could you hang it on the face of the wall, so that it could be opened to get at the window, and to stop water from getting on to the sill?
TB Thanks for your reply. We actually thought of something like that ourselves but didn't know if it could be done. I suppose it would have to be made especially, not the sort of thing thats standard, and I expect it will bump the budget up. We'll have to get a plumber in too I don't think it would be an easy DIY job for my hubby.

"The builder" is wrong on one point. ANY glass that is going to be used as a screen must be safety glass. On no account should normal glass be used, even thick 6mm glass is dangerous. Get the size of sheet needed and a glass merchant will get it cut and treated. If when used, there is an accident, the screen glass, if broken will shatter into a million harmeless bits. Do not even think about using normal glass. Ever.
