Would you rather a friend told you what they were thinking even if it wasnt what you wanted to hear or would you rather they agreed with you all the time to keep you happy?

Tell me what they were thinking.

It would depend on the situation 4get. What sort of situation are you thinking of?

The truth.
But there are ways of saying things, so even if the truth isn't what you want to hear - then can soften any blow. Tact. Diplomacy. etc.
I would want the truth....I think.

Like what...tell us more..
truth but in a diplomatic way 4get, can't be doing with someone that says hurtful things disguised as 'straight talking'
but, yes, the truth is always better!

well I was on FB and a mate came on saying someone who wasnt a friend had slagged her off. and said just to leave it as they are after a reaction. Then a person I dont even know came on and had a go at me saying that I always dig at my mate. There has been times in past where I have told her some of her status arent very fair on her bloke when she slags him off and she has agreed. Her friend told me I am not a true friend if I give opinions like that. I said better to say what I think that suck up and agree with everything. I guess at end of day if it was a close friend I would always take what they say as them not being nasty but as advice and would rather know how they feel. Other people can say what they like. Vibra you dont even have to tell me you love me I already know lol

I didn’t even say it in a nasty way like ‘stop slagging off your bloke’ I just said ‘I don’t think its fair on him and you wouldn’t like it if he said that about you on a public forum’ and she agreed. Her ‘mate’ said ‘If I was a true friend I wouldn’t tell her what she could and couldn’t put. I just ended it saying she didn’t know me at all and I don’t appreciate being had a go out by someone I didn’t know.
don't allow anyone one willy-nilly to contact you on FB 4get, just friends

bobbi I dont I was on my friends status. I have banned her now so she cant even see me. mcfluff thats exactly how I feel.
The 'friend of a friend' sounds a bit out of order for having a go at you.
can't have been a friend in the first place pet 4get...
I've said things like that on FB. Gingers cousin was always putting nasty stuff about his Ex and I told him to cop on loads of times.

He just deleted my comments..lol
