pregnancy cravings

hi do any of you moms out there have terrible cravings...... i am mom to 3 and had different cravings with each pregnancy, citrus peel and graanny smith apples with number 1 daughter, cheese and onion and pink lemonade with number 2 and BONIOS dog biscuits with number 3 ( yes i am barking mad!!!!!!!!)

i'd never thought of it before, callisto, but those two babies were both boys.

And now they both love bananas!

I had a terrible craving for charcoal! I had heaps of the stuff stashed in my studio (as I am an artist) and would munch away like a squirrel stick after stick! I even phoned my partner to bring me some to work because I was crawling the walls!!! Eventually I got scared and went to the doctors... she found it rather amusing and told me it was a condition called 'Picca' which is caused through lack of iron! Apparently anyone can get it, but its more common in pregnant women... after a course of iron tablets I was completely cured and moved onto raw carrots, ice lollies and granny smiths apples!

Hi Callisto, I couldn't think of another way to contact you so thought I'd e-mail you on one of your old questions.

Just to let you know that me & my bump are doing very well, been enjoying the lovely weather which is why I haven't been stuck in front of the computer.

I am feeling the baby move regularly now , he/she gave me a whopping kick this morning! I am 20 weeks today & my bump is huge now (I wasn't skinny before this anyway!) and I go for a scan on the 19th of this month. No mega cravings yet, except I really like chedder cheese which I never used to before. My husband is being even more of a sweetie than he used to be, so I am enjoying the attention.
