BBC Reporter attack - what the Judge said
BBC Reporter Paresh Patel was on his way to do a report when he was followed and attacked by two drunken idiots. However, one of them got more than he bargained for as Mr. Patel is a Black Belt in Karate. Mr. Patel also shows incredible restraint in not rising to the challenge until he finally snaps, but, it's the comment of the Judge on passing sentence that made me smile.....

Looking at the video Mr. Patel was quite fortunate that the police arrived when they did as it looked as if it was going to degenerate into a bit of a scuffle! He hit him twice and he was still getting grief - I think Mr. Patel needs to spend a little more time in the dojo!
Incidently can somebody please tell the telegraph that mixing karate with "kung fu style" manages to irritate both sets of martial artists.
Oh well at least they didn't say "karate player"
