Europeans reuniting themselves against a common threat or more people becoming critical of European leaders ' messing up in Iraq?

Does anyone find it odd that every time people become critical against their leaders as it happened at EC voting or want more from them an attack occurs ? Or an online message from terrorists is circulated on the media like the one of Laden , few days before the elections in USA when polls predicted that Kerry was going to win the election and it was the first time that so many people got political against Bush?

I JUST HATE THAT whenever people feel empowered or start showing their power
they get set back again OF terrorist attacks. Why do we really pay secret Agencies, British or American or whatever,for analysing videotypes and online messages?
