Hi tinkerbell, my daughter is the same age as you, at uni but living at home. Will miss her so much when she moves out, sounds like you and your mum both have to compromise to make it work, you have to be more helpful around the house, and she has to respect your privacy a bit more!
Hope it works out
Hi Tinkerbell, My daughter is 24 and has been back at home a year after 3 years at uni and one post grad travel. I can honestly say it works well as she ( altho an untidy slob in her room ) respects the rest of the house. She had debts of £7000 that she has worked off in the year ( Son pays that to rent his flat) BUT I might ask where she is going in a chatty way and am never offended if I just get the "out " reply. She ALWAYS pays up on time ( £50 a week ) and we have a default setting of no dinner unless she lets me know in advance that she will be in.( very rarely is ) . Good luck wishes you well ( and your parents!)
