I apologise for leaving last night however I had trouble posting. What prompted my initial comment? People watching. We had our firework party and I was struck by the way a couple of my close friends were "acting". Both are having affairs, not with each other, and I was
sad for them, the way that they "played happy families" whilst they are not actually "happy" in their respective relationships.

Do you know what is actually going on in their personal lives to judge whether or not the 'happy family' is a sham?? People have affairs for lots of different resons-and may still care deeply fo the one they are married to / partnered with. it isnot always black and white. Don't get me wrong here-I do not aprove...just saying that unless we are in their shoes.we really don't know.

I am not judging them pastafreak, cazzz1975 and mizzybat, I do know the situation that both of them are in as they are close friends of mine. They have told me why they are staying with their respective partners and I whilst I may not agree with their reasons I respect them.

My musings last night were because I knew that they were "playing happy families" and putting on an "act" in front of friends and family.

It started me thinking however I could not post more due to problems.

Glad to clear things up. I would hate for you to judge me on a misunderstanding.
