My son is only two weeks old and as each night has come and gone, it is proving more and more impossible for him to settle in his moses basket. He has no real problems sleeping there during the day but come the night time its no way jose. He is quite willing to sleep on either my wife or myself s stomach and is very settled this way, but obviously we want him in his moses basket.
Any ideas please?

Best person to speak to would be your health visitor or midwife. Have you tried swaddling? Some babies just don't like moses baskets. Sorry I can't be more help! Good luck.
Have you tried raising the top of the mattress slightly like a small rolled up towel underneath. Also, your wife could put a soft toy up her top for a while so it has her scent on the toy then place in the basket. Hope this helps,
Your stomachs are probably warmer than the moses basket. He probably feels more secure with the physical contact. 2weeks is still a vulnerable time.....give him 6w to feel more secure - it'll knacker you out but that's what having babes is about ;c)
