Another non story. The Labour Party have always done well in the large towns and cities where unemployment and bad health have always been higher. The Tories do well in the shires and rural areas. This is nothing new.
In answer to your question, it could have some bearing on the result. 3 million people are on incapacity benefit. The Tories have pledge to abolish it. Will that gain them 3 million votes?
