The most wonderful place we haver ever had gluhwein (mulled wine) is at the top of the(Swiss) Jungfrau Railway.
The restaurant(on left in link picture) has the most amazing views,and gluhwein and a sunset has to be seen to be believed!

BTW the three mountains overlooking Grindelwald are:~
The Eiger(The Ogre)
The Monch (The Monk)
&
The Jungfrau (The Young Maiden)
The legend is the Monk is between them to keep the Ogre from the Young Maiden!

that looks good, for me i think it would be at my aunts house in wuppertal, it ws xmas eve, snowing and we were all in the garden listening to carolers (sp) singing silent night, love that memory, and a glass of mulled wine takes me right back there :-)

Not inside it isn't!,the restaurant is very cozy.
Sometimes (in the Summer) the Glacier Plateau is 2 or 3 degrees warmer than the valley,due to the sun reflecting off of the snow.
