What's graphic design got to do with tinned food???
I eat tinned fish and I am sure it is not bad.

I also use tinned beans, like cannelli and chick peas. I always pour hot water over these before adding to foods.
I like to have a store of tinned food that can be used as a basic ingredient in cooking, such as pulses or tinned tomatoes. It is generally fairly cheap (I buy many economy own label brands from supermarkets of this kind of product), it has a very long shelf life and you can buy when the price is low and stockpile (for instance tinned tomotoes have fluctuated quite a lot in price over the past year or so).

So Yes tinned foods are good in general. because of long storage possibilities and stockpiling when the price is advantageous.
