1960 tv series it was on around 5.30 in the evening ,the only thing I remember was there was a character called "The Voice" who used to be behind a TV screen, he was a large man with a chubby face ,he also wore dark tinted glasses with large frames .
This was NOT "The Prisioner"
Any ideas please
.I feel sure that someday I will know !

5.30 was children's TV hour.....can't imagine any of these in childrens' TV...

I don't remember the programme but your description of The Voice reminds me of Cyril Fletcher who used to be on That's Life.
