advising emails

I have recently returned to AB after being absent dealing with other priorities and I notice I am not receiving any emails advising me that one of my questions has been answered. Has this facility been discontinued? Furthermore, I seem to be unable to access my profile details to check if they are correct. Am I missing something. AB was always one of my favourite sites and I hope it will continue to be. Regards Dudley

The email subscription was just turned back on but I believe you have to click the checkmark next to "I want to subscribe to this thread" in order to get the notices.

I believe profiles are still being worked on.

Just subscribe to a thread and you should be able to receive email notifications.

That's fine if you are going into the question for a second time but when you pose the question in the first place, the subscribe facility is not there.

I received an e-mail this morning saying there was an answer to a thread I had subscribed to, there wasn't.

When I went to the thread my comment was the last one listed. Nothing had been added at all.

However, I see other threads I've posted in have had replies and I have'nt received an e-mail telling me. Can I unsubscribe from these e-mails, they appear pointless.
