Not a so-called "reader"...

I am not an avid reader...but I have a job now that presents me with quite a bit of free time...what book would you all say I absolutely should read?? I usually like Fiction and I need something that will keep me entertained, but isn't a hard read....

PS: The only books I have ever read all the way through and loved were the Chronicles of Narnia by T.S. Lewis.

Try 'Jane Eyre' and 'A Tale of Two Cities'.  Classics, I know, but if you forget that TTC is Dickens and look upon it as the finest love story ever written you'll have a weep that will stay with you for the rest of your life. For good honest adventure try anything Buchan, e.g The Thirty-Nine Steps.  Sherlock Holmes stories, start with The Speckled Band.  Father Brown stories. You lucky thing ! There is SO much good stuff to read that a single lifetime is not enough. Enjoy yourself.
